ACTION MODE

Chitosan hydrochloride favours the inhibition of light-induced stomatal opening and produces greater resistance to phytopathogenic fungi. It increases enzyme activity associated with lignification, favouring tissue regeneration and hindering the infection process of pathogens.

It is a source of C and N that promotes the growth of micro- organisms that will in turn antagonise plant pathogens competing for space and nutrients, as well as producing antibiotics.
